CIA will be instituting a Mentoring Program
for both new swimmers and their families.
CIA feels that matching new families with
established families will help alleviate a lot
of anxieties that new members may feel.
The duties of a mentoring family would include
the following:
Making the initial phone
call to the new family and welcoming
them to CIA
Being willing to answer
any questions and/or being able to find
the answers if you don’t know
Having your swimmer
introduce the new swimmer to others and
to make them feel at home at practice
If you are an established swimming family
with CIA and would like to be a mentor to a new
