Volunteers

Parent support and involvement are vital to the success of Central Iowa Aquatics.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer in any way possible.  There are many ways to volunteer one’s time and effort.  These include the following:

• Becoming a member of the CIA Board of Directors
• Becoming a certified official
• Working at all home swim meets by signing up for one of the various jobs needed at a meet
• Planning social outings for the team to help build team unity
• Planning the annual Banquet
• Any other ideas

Volunteers are especially needed at home meets.  The more help present at a meet results in a better atmosphere and environment for our swimmers.  All families are asked to donate items to be sold at the concession stand at home meets.  Without the support of its volunteers, CIA would not be able to provide an excellent atmosphere for its members.  We appreciate the help given by our volunteers.  For more information on how to volunteer, contact a CIA board member, the coach, or leave a message on the CIA hotline.
